70 Cities Ban Guns in Parks

Postby Butch Butler » Mon Sep 28, 2009 7:34 pm

The Union City Daily Messenger printed an article from The Tennessean stating that 70 cities have banned guns in parks. That may sound like alot but below you will find the facts,
According to Tnhometownlocator.com there are 95 counties and 343 incorporated cities in Tennessee, that is 438 entities combined. That leaves 368 that have not voted to opt out,or not voted at all.If my math is correct that means 5 out of 6 allow it.So much for fair and balanced media.

I had been curious about that. I just hadn't had time to look it all up. I hope, all the idiotic cities and counties that did ban them ,they put up signs so I can tell which parks I do not want to go in.

Excellent point!

Perception is 95% of any situation. The mainstream press wants to make it seem like all the State is "Opting Out", but the math denies that!

Wouldn't it be just like the restaurants? If it is not posted or not posted properly then it's not legally binding.
