Welcome to the Self Defense - Guns & Gear section of the TFA Forum.
I'm new to this (moderating a forum), but not new to shooting or carrying a handgun. I don't claim to know everything--and can easily demonstrate that I don't. However, I do know how to find an answer to questions, and probably will have an opinion!
As Heinlein said, "An armed society is a polite society." I've found his observation to be generally true--both out in the world, and on-line. I find myself most comfortable with those who understand what being armed is all about.
I hope y'all will find yourselves comfortable here, too.

We're all still "learning to drive" the new forum software...but, I think it will work out to be great!
Tell your friends about the forums (that should be "fora", but who am I to go against Internet usage!), and about the revamped TFA site.
We need to grow!
