Herman Cain

2010 was a year of grassroots uprising which put many Republican candidates in office. 2011 has been showing that some of these are not true conservatives and some are shining stars. 2012 is a presidential cycle and may further demonstrate the move toward true conservative and constitutional principles - if we start early enough.

Last time I heard him talk about it, he was as pro 2d as you can get. The only two horses in the race right now that deserves anyone's vote is Cain and Bachman.

On his radio show, Herman Cain has repeatedly stated that gun laws don't affect crime. I believe he and Neal Boortz once had an on-air discussion about what guns they carried.

Herman Cain is NOT a friend of the 2nd Amendment and has repeatedly said that gun control is an issue that should be addressed by the states. He clearly does not understand the Constitution and thus, like most other candidates, is unfit for the office of President.

Cain believes in the Constitution and there for states rights. COTUS was not ment to govern the states but the federal govt. Federal laws should have no bearing what so ever on state laws and vice versa. That is how our founders intended it. It was bastardized after reconstruction to extend the authority of the Constitution to the states where it was never ment to be. This is why most states have a RTKBA in their own constitutions. Giving the state its right to construct its own gun laws is nothing different than giving them the right to make thier own carry laws.

"I asked him how he feels about gun control and he said,”I f a bill comes across my desk as president, that hinders American’s right to bear arms, I would veto it in a second.” Hmmm I liked that! He didn’t even look nervously around and start to sweat. He was straight forward and looked me unwaveringly t in the eye when he said it."

Any other candidate come close to that kind of support for firearms?

Yup rick perry. After all he is a permit holder himself and shot a coyote with his little .380 on his morning jog here several months or so ago.
